• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Small battery

they are not designed as a main starter battery for everyday use, and will not last long if used that way (the odyssey was being heavily marketed to car audio shops not too long ago)

Yeah, that is basically what that write up found. I am still going to look around and see what is the smallest 800 CCA battery I can find. My battery is still good now so I am looking before I am pressed for time.

Look into carbon fiber batteries, search google, and it should come up with a few options that will fit the light weight and cca requirements you want. There are at least 2 companies that I know make them and are reasonably priced.

Even though our batteries do have some weight to them, being in a FWD car, it would help a little on the traction side. Not much difference, but every little bit helps. Just my couple pennies worth. Just thought it would be something to think about.

^^ That makes sense, but most of the weight shifts rearward during acceleration, so any weight you can cut is good weight :)

True, I didn't think of it like that, I was thinking more on the height holding the front down more so when it does shift the weight it wouldn't pull the front up as much.
