SLP Gen I spoiler installed.

Here is my new SLP Gen I spoiler installed. Of course the drill holes were WAY OFF from stock, so I had to do some modifications to the original trunk holes. Its a little messy, but no one will ever see them and they are pretty much water tight so far. It was painted by our boys over at Clean Cut Creations.

I had to use two extra bolts to fasten down the middle section of the spoiler to allow it sit right on the trunk. The idea came from SycloneJim. I gotta give him the props for the idea! It work splendidly!!!

Here are the pictures.

I used my dremel tool to cut out the metal to gain access to the new drill points.

Here you can see the two additional bolts I put into the spoiler to help secure the middle and bring it down to the trunk flat.

nice choice man, but i know what you mean by the holes being off. mine were pretty off so i only have a few of the bolts in, but its still tight and not going anywhere so im not worried. i didnt fee like messing with the trunk lid any more than i did.

did you respray the underside of the spoiler so it doesnt rust? mine had a little surface rust when i took the stocker off so i hit it with some flat black.

The body shop here used the same paint that is used as the undercoat inside the trunk. A flat blue color as compared to the metallic blue ontop of the spoiler. I also waxed and cleaned up the underneath of it so it wouldn't be so bad the next time around.
