my friend has a 98 GTp he has been wanting to race for a while so from a 40roll we both stomp on the gas an i was like wtf i was pulling on him an my car is a 99 GT just with some exhuast ,fwi,pcm , . we tried again from a 60mph roll an this time he just stayed at my door. i dont know but he should have smoked me at least by a car
 


yeah his car is not running right ,something with a line from the supercharger an the gaskets lol a whole lot of problems

As far as this race goes: if he's bone stock, and you have PCM and exhaust work, it might just be about right folks, if the GTP has high mileage, old, fouled plugs, etc, etc.

7.8 pulley And a motor that has a lot of ''blow by''...but not enough to ''blow by'' a gt :th_laugh-lol3: ...what is that like 1/2 psi???
 
Is he running like a 4.8 inch pulley?? lol. I bet he's getting a good bit of KR, robbing him of power. Maybe he's running the cheap 87-89 octane fuel like you're NOT supposed to do in a GTP. My GTP has never seen anything under 91 octane.

yeah ive raced gtp's in good running conditions an they beat me pretty good , but what can i say my friend dont listen , he still thinks his car is running strong lmao
 
GT hp:195 @ 5200 RPM GTP hp:240 @ 5200 RPM
GT ftlbs:230 @ 4000 RPM GTP ftlbs:280 @ 3600 RPM

He needs to wake up and smell the oil! His sTUFF ain't right.
 
yeah but ive raced gtps in good conditions an they dont beat that bad maybe by fender,half a car !! but maybe cuz im not stock stage 2cam,fwi,ecu ,yeah my friend doesnt know how to race his gtp he raced a vr6 , the vr6 smoked the gtp by 4 cars yeah i couldnt believe it either yeah but after a month of telling him his car broke down an the radiator popped something like that i guess so much overheating !!

1st race gtp(stock) vs vr6(mufflers,cold air intake) =vr6 won by 4cars
2nd race me driving his gtp vs vr6 =vr6 won by a fender
needles to say my friend dont know how to drive for $**t man
