Slips getting into first when cold, no shifting to 4th

Hello,
I just did an engine swap in my 00 GTP. The tranny was working perfectly before the engine swap. Now, with the new engine, it slips getting into first gear when the car is cold. Also, it will not shift into 4th. Is there a cable that needs to be adjusted or something else?
 


No, no cable. It's all electronic. Have you checked the fluid level of the trans. at a full hot/idle? When was the filter/fluid changed last?

Other than that I would go over the wiring harness and make sure you didn't leave something loose. Check the connections to the trans.

Usually no 4th indicates a stripped 4th clutch hub. Does it try to engage OD at all? Notice any RPM spike when it should be catching OD and then falling back into 3rd?
