Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

How to find out the year of my engine, the year of my car is a 97 gt but I blew the heads on my engine awhile back so I don't really know what year engine the car shop installed but it's not a 97 because the alternator assembly is different

if the alt is different its a 99 up engine. all your parts are the same still. just a different alt bracket and alt on there now. so just order 97 parts.

Depends on what your goal is. Do you want just looks, or more power? What is your budget? Can you do most of the work yourself or will you have to have a shop do it? The best way to get power out of it would be turbo. Yes, you "could" top-swap it but then you have to have it tuned and a bunch of other things and it still may not run right and won't have the power a turbo can provide for almost the same cost.

Everything I did on it do far: New Windshield, 20 inch GIO RIM and all brand new tires, spyder halo projector headlights, spyder smoked led taillights, new front bumper, new back bumper, new side rocker panels, tint, 220 amp high output alternator, yellow top altima battery, new radiator, new duralast gold starter, k & n high performance air filter, gps heads up speedometer, 7 in flip out boss audio head unit, 15 inch kicker subeoofer, 15 inch super probox, pioneer 6x9 550watt, 2000 watt bass amp, 2400 watt 4 channel high amp, imco magnaflow dual exhaust, new brakes on all tires, new wheel hub bearings, 2 new outer tire rod, 2 new struts assembly on front wheels, new water pump, new fuel pump, new fuel filter, leather interior............What else can I upgrade

Save for a built transmission from Dave over at tripleedgeperformance.com Those 20's aren't going to be kind to it. They are the weak point on these cars. Have the LIM gaskets been replaced with the updated aluminum ones? That's known to be an issue too.

dude, i know how you can pick up a half a second in the quarter mile....yank all 500 lbs of that ****ty stereo equipment back out...

in all seriousness the comments about the trans are pretty true. since its a 97gt its a 4t60 which is even weaker then the 4t65 in the other cars. with 20's either be really nice to it or dont expect it to last long. if you want power the only real ways to get it are a turbo or top swap/engine swap.

The general rule of thumb is if your goal is under 300whp then top swap. If more than 300whp than turbo. Both setups though should have a built trans in mind.

Also nobody has mentioned upgrading the handling. Sway bars and trailing arms will make quite the difference.
