noob question just put engine back together after replacing both heads. I thought I had all wires connected. but as I was underneath changing oil theres a single wire connector sitting on frame. I was thinking cam or crank sensor but there both multie wires. please help I'm racing thee weather here. thanx

you broke the rear knock sensor wire, it was clipped tot he p/s pump, it broke when you removed the pump. you can splice it with solder, or buy a new one. iirc theres one for sale in the classified section here

But there a connector plug on end of wire like it plugs into something. Also the weather got bad so I haven't got under car could it be for anti lock brake. But if it is the knock sensor we're is that located at off block

this is the knock sensor harness, see if the plug matches

They are on each side of the block about center. Look like little round canisters and are screwed in vertically into sides of block. The rear one will be tough to see and get to because of the transmission.
