Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Simple Modding for '97 GTP

All headers have a downpipe included, I wasn't sure if you were planning on buying a downpipe seperate from your headers.

But yeah, headers and a glasspack in place of the factory resonator= legit.

I feeL like a glasspack would sound to ricey. I want a deeper tone so I was more thinking magnaflow 40 or 44 series to give me a bit deeper tone.

Summit racing turbo mufflers have been the best sounding mufflers I have heard in person on a GTP. Deep and throaty without being raspy.

So your saying I should get a turbo muffler (even though my car is stock and non-turbo) instead of a glasspack or magnaflow mufflers?

It's your car. You do what you want to it. I'm just offering a suggestion other than the ones posted. "Turbo" is just the name of the muffler it doesn't mean you have to have a turbo. And I heard the mufflers on a stock GTP.

How did the turbo mufflers sound on a stock GTP? The Turbo mufflers arent that expensive compared to magnaflow

You aren't gonna know till you put mufflers on your car. You can listen to different mufflers on youtube all day, but it's hard to recreate the sound through speakers. If you are just wanting sound then I would recommend a cutout from summit racing-$25 and have that welded on. It will allow you to unbolt it and be loud when feeling froggy. Then tighten 3 bolts when wanting it quiet again.
