silly maf, bill, blue, bio, help can i haz?

so i did the headers, got the o2 extension and sim a week later
cleared the codes and the maf low popped up
so waited 2 weeks got a re-man unit, the old one broke while it was being removed, so cleared the codes re-started the car and low popped right back up

i havent checked to see it i mixed up the tps and maf, but the car runs fine and idles fine

i also had the egr removed and the "cold start" vacuum line in my 97 is disconnected

do i need a new maf, a tune to correct something, or wtf is going on?
 


check the wires on the plug for the maf, being a 97 they could be cracked or missing insulation, and cause a low voltage.

i had to replace my pig tail on my 98. it was all torn up.
 
do you have a scan gauge? if your trims were off before the headers, you could be over the limit and the car thinks the maf is wrong.... what are your trims now? if they are -23 this might be the issue
 


i'll check the trim's tomorrow on the way to work
but i can get the aeroforce to read the low trim only the high

and i'll see if i cant get advanced to give me a new one vs the reman
