Silicon lube window rails?

When I had my 99 Civic beater, I was told to use some silicon lube on the window rails when they started moving slowly. I've got 4 brand new regulators and they still move slower than I would like. Is the silicon lube still a good option?

i would use graphite spray, all the oil based sprays attract dirt and dust.

the kind for locks, they have a sub zero deg one too, witch i used.
