Silent Exhaust & S/C

Uhm, this is a new one on me: My exhaust is dead silent now as is the supercharger. No more raspy exhaust & no more supercharger whine. I have the PaceSetter headers & Catback w/ CAI. The car was loud before. I have no idea what might've happened. Unless that good ole' s/c took a dump. :th_scratchhead:

Does it appear to be running ok otherwise? IDK what would explain the exhaust, that makes no sense. Something stuffed in your tail pipes perhaps?

Gauge indicates boost. I feel no bost. Car dosen't get louder it gets hotter. Maybe I should check for a potato in the exhaust. I looked under the hood & there's still a belt driving the S/C & it whines when I pull the throttle cable. I'm Flabbergasted.

I jus' went & drove it around. The exhaust made some noise & I heard the supercharger whine. Maybe my car is haunted & i'm going deaf. I'll hafta get my ears check along with getting the car checked.

Could the bearings in the M90 be bad?

Besides feeling sluggish does the car run smooth? Bearings would make a horrible grinding sound.

What happened to that overly ported blower you put on the car?

the s/c wouldn't just stop working, its belt driven, its going to turn no matter what, unless some how a rotor got fubar'd, or your coupler is non-existant. If it was a bearing or coupler usually it would make a god awful grinding noise.

I haven't got a clue. I'll take the car to FTW, the place that did the porting.

Hmm, I thought I heard a grinding or scrapping noise a few times when first starting up & moving the car.

But whats with the complete lack of noise?

well, solves that issue. if the blower is making boost and not making any funny noises then nothing is wrong with it.

I suppose so. I'd still like to know why
my cars suddenly so darn quiet. It's nice to have peace and quiet in the cabin, just not used to it.
