• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Si Valves

OP: To make power with NA, you're going to need an aggressive cam, and spin well past 6000 rpm. Wes Blair style. (that other company did similar numbers with no serp belt during dyno)

Lollllllllllll

Over the last decade, how many other people pulled good numbers on Intense n/a cams?

No love for the N/A's to be excepted. I haven't even tried to tune, All I did was the GT2 and I ran a 15.6 (70* humid). If I wasn't lazy and put on my headers, HV3, and tuned. I can imagine I'd be in the high 14's, mid if I put my high stall back in and it was a nice day.

For reference, a buddy of mine went 14.9 @ 93 with a GT2, LS6's, 3" DP, DHP tune, Ported GTP TB, GTP injectors, 4" FWI, polys all around...stock rockers, trans, heads, LIM, UIM, etc...I don't think he even had an HV3.

Car made 202WHP on the dyno as well IIRC.

You should spray it.

I have been throwing the idea of a 50 or 75 shot around for the top end when an N/A runs out of breath. :th_king-evil:

I wanted to spray the GT I had before I sold it, stall + 3.69's...because I wanted to build the transmission before I did anything, but I ended up selling it...so yeah, I'm sure a stalled/cammed/juiced N/A car would still roll out, even in a Bonne.

I'd do a 100 shot, because aren't people running 125-150 shots on L67 cars...don't see why I wouldn't run a higher shot especially if you have the flow mods to compinsate.

SI valves were taken off the books a long time ago ha. The engine isn't my worry it's the trans. I'll need a spare if I start spraying and praying.

It's a Wbody you'll probably want a spare trans anyways spray or not spray lol. Thank you GM for our awesome transmissions.

I love how bluegtp is giving advice on how much you can spray without having any clue how nitrous works.

So then school me, all knowing magic man.

I didn't explain anything, I told the guy I've seen different setups.

I'm still waiting for you to reply in the cam thread that you try to tell me something and how I'm wrong then just never back anything up. Seems to be a common pattern.
