The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.
ive been working on my tattoo alot lately. and have been exploring diffrent shapes and sizes for it (refer back to page 1 for previous design). ive expanded it from just the deltoid area to up the shoulder and down about half way to the elbow. yesterday i spent over 5 hours in a waiting room at boston's children's hospital while my little cousin got his third back surgery done. while i was there i was drawing what i think will be my final design. it feel like it has more meaning now that i drew it up while joe was having surgery for a complication from his disorder. he chose me this time to go into the Operating room with him him while they put him under. it was unspeakably moving to hold his hand while he drifted off. He's home now, my little trooper, and i cant wait to go see him.
tell me what you think. i want to revise the area that is out of focus, under the left side of the band. i cant do lettering for the life of me so im going to print it up and trace it in there. but it is still going to read " CURE SMA". the striated areas will be where the skin is torn off, revealing the muscle tissue underneath.
Top pic is my first tat. Got it about 12 years ago. Bottom pic I got about 10 years ago. I have some ideas for a few more, but havent finalized anything.
Haha yeah I should have added in that I am going to work with the artist on shading and color. Neither have been a strong skill of mine, so I'm not going to do it alone lol. The muscle tissue will also become more realistic. I just added thos striations to sepate it from the skim and to get a feel of how the fibers would be running
im currently re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re- doing it. taking the clutter out of the left side under the band, and going a little more conservative with the lines. i think it has too many peaks where the skin meets the muscle. it should look better with some cleaner lines.
im having a ton of trouble finding an artist that meets my standards. its really going to be the shading and color that bring the piece to life.... or make it a regret.
Thanks, that was at the spartanburg swat competition. the iron site portion of the sniper event. i have a couple better pics of competition but dont want to thread jack. OIF is operation iraqi freedom OEF is operation enduring freedom
