i have a very nice neon kit i bought for my other car like 2 years ago andi havent used it they are red....thoughts on putting them on red car? im just bored with nohing to do it right now lol. also its blocked up and i woudnt be a paul walker and drive with them on just for chillen thoughts and comments?
 


leave them off. no matter how many people try and claim that neons arent rice they always look rice. even done really nicely i think its just stupid looking.
 
Ha ive thought about them too.. bought them and then sold them for the same price.. it isnt worth the trouble of them plus as bio says they can be slightly rice
 
Well your red car isn't really rice so adding them to it won't make it "rice". I guess if you have nothing better to do and if you want to do it then go for it. It's your car, so do what you want to it. Hell, maybe if you turn them on by somebody, they will want to race you :th_nanana:
 
There is a difference between looking nice and rice, and if done right, lights aren't really gawdy or anything... I say go for it. The car is a mean machine, and it'll make all the REAL ricers jealous.
 
I say go for it. If you don't like it, you don't have to have drive with them on. I have them on my car. But most of the time, I leave them off. You will get ricers trying to race you.

Thats how i have them on one of my other cars, i used them when i was 16-19 to show off to the other kids at school and when i first started college, havent had them on since, so 5 years of nothing lol
 


There's just some things that don't really look good on cars and neons are one of them IMHO. It gets attention, sure, but typically three kinds of attention:

1. legit ricers
2. people who hate ricers and will call you a "ricer"
3. the police

The police are gonna be on your junk like stink on a monkey, especially since they'd be red.
 
No matter what people say your car already looks like a beast it drives like a beast, so use those neons as the fires of hell that your beast is emerging from:th_king-evil:

If he only uses them off-road, the police CAN'T give him ****. The people that call him "ricer" can find out the hard way, and the legit ricers can suffer.
