I picked up some used 42# injectors that have been run for about 20K miles. They all look fine, but should I just replace them for my own sanity? Or would they be OK to just pop on?
I know I'll have to retune, it was more of a mechanical question. I'll pick up a dozen and have them on hand. I've read to cut off the old ones, then lube up the new ones with anything from vaseline to oil to dielectric grease and roll them on. That sound right or is there a trick to doing it?
i'd replace the o rings, there cheap enough and theres really no reason not to IMO. Use a little grease/motor oil on the rings to install them in there orfaces...
