Stock catback as a whole with make no performance difference unless you are making over 300WHP.. which you aren't . So anything you touch exhaust wise after the downpipe will make 0 performance difference.

removing it has zero hp gains. only the added drone. your shop is dumb or dont know how poor these engine really sound.

a camaro should sound better with headers and dual pipes. that guy who put the l67 in a datson, not sure if he used res's or not.

It doesn't have dual pipes :-( Weird exhaust that goes to a single muffler and dual exhaust. stock v8 style. It sounds just as bad as any 3800 without a res.

my 70 bird had dual pipes to one large muffler, (muffler was tucked up in front of the gas tank) then dual pipes out to the bumper. i ripped all that crap out and ran two mufflers and pipes out back.

you should do the same....

I probably will make true duals now that i can weld -D) eventually. But Single 2.5 with a res will do fine once its got the new motor in.
