Should I buy 6000k or 8000k hids?



i know the feelin..anyway ive been thinking about doing a retro but dont have the time or money. but when i do ill more then likly get cleangtp to do them, hes does great work and the price isnt that bad
 
well i am sure it will not help much but i have 8K 55 watt. and i got mine from the BMW website and they are awesome. i get flashed all the time but i dont care. but i did get i ticket for them but the cop is a Pr*ck. but the 8K HID's i have are brighter than my silver star ultras low and highs together. and they are fine for seeing. they really dont look blue. just cool white.

i payed $100 for mine with shipping.
 
i prefer 5000k over 4300k. i had my 5000k's go in the truck and had a spare 8000k set, got pulled over in less than 3 weeks

i have 6000k in the gtp now because of price not choice

i see this is old but in my 40th anniversary i had 12k, light output hell of a lot better than stock no matter what anyone says, i got flashed once the whole year i had them in, NEVER any issue with the police, they actually said they like them. compared to my friends 8k obviously his had better light output at the ground but he aim his AT the ground. i just ordered 8k last night and cant wait to compare to my 12k
 


I've switched to 4300k and 3000k in the fog lights. Can't decide wether I like them more than my 10,000k's. Def a diff/cleaner look. Regardless, I plan on saving for a set of retrofits. :-)

Now order some Morimoto 4300k or 5000k and get yourself some real bulbs..... quit being a ricer.....
 
i was debating on 6k but decided on 8k i wanted that slight blue to it. mostly because im also a firefighter lol but my 12k i loved i could see anything. completly different than stock

Headlights don't make a car go fast that makes no sense and it's most definitely rice.... however you are right nobody has to like your car except for you!!
