I have a 04 gt1 and ive been looking at Short Ram air intakes and Cold air intakes. Ive seen every type in every price range, but still dont noe. Does anyone have any suggestions on what intake is good for its price?
( do not wanna make my own intake)

There are a bunch of threads for that question also. Wisaird K&N Thrasher if you find one its up too you the spectre filters have more flow and making your own is cheaper

How to build my own Air intake?

I have an 04 3.8 V6 GT1 and low on a budget what do i need to build my own intake and how would i build it?

Re: How to build my own Air intake?

try searching around the forum a little bit... there is a few very good write-ups on here

Re: How to build my own Air intake?

Built mine with Spectre filter from autozone and 3 inch pvc. took the whole stock intake box out cut pvc to correct length and it actually fits in stock ribbed hose just shimmy/push it past all the ribs(that is the restrictive part) and it will stop before the IAT sensor. See how it fits in your car if you have too cut off some more pvc till you filter and pvc can fit in the new space provided once the airbox is gone. Tighten. now you can hear that whine if gtp or get the quicker throttle from the gt

Re: How to build my own Air intake?

post in the right section. the how-to section is not for posting questions.

i also merged your threads so that you dont have two on the exact same subject. please refrain from doing that.

How many times can we have the same discussion?? Both are beneficial its a toss up and debatable which one is better.. so go cheaper
