• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Alot of headaches come from people installing parts the wrong way and they break, then go running to ZZP because the parts are "crap" in essence they broke the parts.
You can get a good set of used rockers. Really not much on a rocker to fail.
I would go with speed daddy headers with the upgraded clamps over trying to piece together a plog and a down pipe. They will run you about the same in the end.
I have speed daddy headers. I've looked them over and really don't have an issue with how they were made.

when the time comes i was deff. leaning towards the SD headers. was installation a pain in the arzz or pretty smooth?

Search on my screen name and "Easy". Choose the header thread. I think it's easy, once you understand what to do and how to do it.

YOu know...I may know a guy selling rockers. Not sure what ratio they are.

I haven't put them on yet but how "easy" it is on my is a different "easy" from yours. I have a little more room in my engine bay. Hardest part is getting all the old rusted to snot exhaust parts off.

Old is easy.. Hit with airgun.. it etiher comes loose or snaps the crossover bolts. Poof it's out.
New in Justin's car is really easy. Lift it in place and bolt up. I remember how nice it was with all the room in Bonnie. In the W..lower the sub a touch and it's in there.

well sad to say the money i had aside to play with needs to be spent else where. my wife needs a new car so looks like im gonna have to take a check.. maybe income tax time i can swing a couple bucks to play with.. smh, nothing new should have ben expected something would come up. o well thats life i guess.. but i just wanted to thank you guys for the great information.

You know...maybe a tune is in order. They do wake a car up nicely and if one of the locals (wink Justin) has a tuner.. maybe it's low cost and satisfies that power craving you were having while the wife gets that new car.

Stiffer shifts and some timing. Wouldn't cost more than a burger and a beer. If you were going to do one thing on your car I would say the $ on headers would be well spent and help get more out of a tune.
