Hi I'm new to this forum.
I have an automatic 02 GT Grand Prix.
When I start the car the shift indicator ( on the dash: P R N D 1 2 3)doesn't come on and I can't move the car out of park, the button wont push in and the shift doesn't move.
I have to wait sometimes a few seconds sometimes minutes before the light comes on and the button can be pushed and the shifter able to move.
There's a click noise that can be heard when the gear indicator light comes on.
What could this be? It only started happening about a month ago.
