The problem with just changing the accumulator springs is that you miss out on half of the benefits of updating the transmission. It doesnt do anything to increase the durability of the trans. A real upgrade to a trans that isnt damaged yet would be to drop the channel plate and install the boost valve kit to bump the pump output up and do the AFL valve and TCC apply valve updates to keep it from going up in smoke in the future. Also putting a hose clamp around the two smaller diameter lube feed tubes in the bottom pan to keep them from coming loose can save you a bunch in the long run. Just saying....the easy way out is not always the most effective!
