Shift Kit Question!

Soooooooo I recently installed a shift kit in my car and it made a HUGE change in my shifting! Its been about 3 weeks now and I have had 0 problems with my trans. Before I thought it was slipping but I believe it the PCM was doing something to make control pressure solenoid to go into maximum pressure where it would take awhile to shift "around 3k rpms before I shifted and it would shift hard" Shift kit fixed that so far....

My question about the shift kit is that when I put it in 3rd "quite", 2nd "quite", 1st... it makes some kind of buzzing noise and it never did that until I put the kit in "I THINK" Is that normal or not? Also when I was putting new fluid in after the install when fluid was going down hole I could hear like air coming out of somewhere??? Trans fluid level is perfect still and 0 leaks!

any help would greatly appreciate it!!!

wtf does this mean? "when I put it in 3rd "quite", 2nd "quite", 1st..." like your down shifting the trans? if so stop doing that.

When you put the transmission in manual first, it's at full pressure so it's normal to hear it whine a little. Where is the fluid at on your dipstick? A lot of times you want it at the top or a little above the cross hatch.

He is talking while not moving.

What you hear is normal, just about every single auto tranny when put in Manual 1 will make extra noise from the pump and internals. As that guy said, it just like full pressure and is wanting everything there because the shifter is set there.

THIS
I always manually run through the gears sitting still after a fresh trans fluid/filter change.
Not sure I would have explained it "quite" like that though...lol
OP: What do think is in that trans pan you are refilling with fluid...air that is being displaced by that fluid which has to go somewhere.

Lmao my bad... long weekend and I posted this right before I went to bed. Yes standing still and going through the gears!
