Shaved Trunk?



Alright. I'm not too worried about the paint so maybe pry it out with a screwdriver? I'll give it a shot and report back here tomorrow about how I did it.
 


Neither of my trunks have that. It must be a safety feature if you get locked in the trunk or something. My car must have been previously used to kidnap and carry people in the trunk.
 
mine's got that hooker release thing..... actual pull cord with a person jumping out of the trunk... previous owner has a sense of ha ha and gave the stick person some tits with a sharpie marker
 
I looked at it a little bit but couldn't get it to come out. I think there are little tabs I have to press in so it pops out but I can't get to them. Will try again in a couple months.

I was never one for body work.... but i never filled a "hole" with bondo... I filled it with a disk of body sheetmetal, and bondo'd overtop of it... If it was gonna fall out, it would have by now... My trunks till sits in primer and we've had over -30degree Celsius weather here for the past few weeks
