Shaking headlights

I have a 2005 GP that I recently bought, and when I drive at night my headlights shake when I hit bumps. This is EXTREMELY annoying, and I have to do somthing about it.

I have read in the how to section about the fix for this issue, but it says it is only for the 04 cars. Was this issue supposed to be fixed for 05? I have had the headlights now, nothing is missing or broken, they just dont fit that tightly. There is no evidence that this car was ever crashed, and the carfax is clean so I dont think a wreck was the cause.

Ive felt how loose other 04+ GP headlights are and I felt a few that were really loose, maybe even worse than mine. I am sure oncoming cars can see the headlight flicker just as much as I can. My GP is a very nice car, but the jumpy headlights just make it seem kind of cheap. Cant believe GM would release a car like this.

I know there is a TSB for this problem. GM dealer for the TSB? Anyone know the price on it? Or any other ways of fixing the issue?

I need to do something about it because it is driving me bugs.
 


go to the dealer and ask them for the headlight kit. they ended up fixing the problem on the 06 and up. so when you put the kit on it will be just like the 06 and up brackets

All of the info I have looked at was only for the 2004 model with this problem, I was starting to get a little worried why my 05 was having the problem...

What's the cost? Or is it a TSB fix? I have this same problem with my 04, I could imagine how annoying it is for the people driving in front of me at night...
 
My 07 GXP shakes also. It's annoying. It's just a ****ty design considering there is only one bracket holding the headlight in place.

Eh, life sucks then you die.

i dunno what it cost i just know they have a kit out there for the problem
