Shake ZuLa's 06'GP Pics

I work at a bank so we have to park by/walk through the drive in park in order to get to the back security door. So its cool to have some good looking girl comment on your car as you walk in to start the work day. I do not think that some pretty blond girl driving her moms Mercedes cares about how fast my car is. She just cares that I wont pull up in some old junk car when I pick her up at her family's/friends. Like I said presentation is Key!

I have had people try and race me too, but they were always older cars even a truck one time. I had an older camero try n race me recently in front of the Lake county court house lol. I was on my way home from work too. I thought the guy was just embarrassed that he had dents and rust all over his car so he had to just say "well ad least its fast".

All I am saying is that I don't ever see people in cars I respect racing at stop lights. I mean yeah once in a while is cool. Maybe when you buy a new car and you wanna try it out. Most my neighbors have some nice upper class cars, when those old guys bring that **** out they don't drive fast. My 43 year old neighbor has a black viper which he just washed today and you will never see him do over 35mph even in a 45mph zone lol.
 


****, my cousin has a nitrous fed v-10, it cant do 45.

I get all that but look where you are at too, the nice cars are far and few between in your area, its a handful of you guys there that got decent whips. My wife is from that area, Ive been there ALOT, even lived in hillbilly heaven just east of you.
 
Well personally I'm getting a newer Dodge Ram by or before August, and by next summer getting an Infiniti G35, the GP's just gonna lay around the house for my little sister to practice with.
 
Yeah thanks for the link, what's our bulb number for the turn signals in the fogs?

2004+ Quad Cab, Hemi, 4X4, Black (hopefully) here's the mods I've got planned:

- Limo tints and 20% windshield
- LED tails tinted
- Black Stock 20's (Big Horn)
 


Oh, I always just turn my switch to the running lights, My old roommate tried to disable his DRL's, it wasnt successful so I leave it alone actually I praise GM for that feature, reminds me of the old days when that kind of thing was on every car detroit turned out.

Do yourself a favor and plan for a cat-back, it wakes the HEMI up real nicely, a tune and intake maybe a set of headers and its a truck that will suprise alot of people.

Hey D, good choice on the Ram. I have a 05 Quad 4X4 w/Hemi. So far, all I've done is a cat back and intake. Like said above, that woke that truck up big time.

Shake- I am actually glad to see someone your age that's not wanting to be out there racing everything they pull up beside. I used to be like that, know with a family, I could care less about going fast, but, the powers there when needed.

+1, if it wasnt for my kids Id still have my go fast toys, Spending time with my kids was more important to me then spending time in courts and jails again.
 
Yeah, when I was younger, I didn't care. I'm still gonna get a few more go fast parts for the GTP, but want to do it so when my boy gets older, when can go to the track together. And also build on it together. He's 2 now and is already ate up with cars. Loves watching Power Block and Speed channel with me. I just have too much responsibility now to be acting stupid on the streets.

Mine is a hot wheel freak right now, even my daughter likes em. My son wasnt around when I had a fast car, I had a 4x4 when they were born so they got raised up in the mud and on the back trails so he likes big trucks more-so then cars. He hasnt seen a fast car yet either, even the 99 gt stang went into storage when they came around, paid for so it can sit and do nothing but get tinkered with.

Id like to build a car with my son one day, pops built several with me and by the time I was legal I was on my 2nd solo build at 16. Id like to turn that fun part of life over to him and let him overnight engine swap and **** instead of me.

One thing I do gotta say about this, even the base sedan has enough balls to act like a 2 door yet has 4. My buddy has had a 97 gtp since late 1996, still a virgin car, and it was a ***** for him with his daughter to get her in and out of the back seat.

We should have a " kids of gp nuts" meet. by nuts I dont mean giggleberries.

Yeah thanks, my dad says if we find a F-150 he'd rather me get that but I'm pretty set on a Hemi Ram, if I don't find one with a Hemi I might have to settle for an F-150.

I dought you'll have trouble finding one. The 150's aren't bad either. I've just never been a ford guy. Grew up on chevy. Wasn't big on dodge till I got this one. They gave me a good deal so I couldn't pass it up. You won't hear any complaints outta me though.

My boy don't care as long as it has wheels. He goes nuts just going into a parking lot.lol!!!!! I can't wait till he's a little older and I can tack him to the track. Getting the GP Nutz kids together sounds fun.
 
My dad insists that the Ram is garbage, I might get a Silverado if I find a nice one, hopefully SS or fully loaded. I'd rather have that the the ram honestly but a black Hemi Ram is still in there. F150 would only happen if the price is right.
