So i want to power all 6 speakers that i replaced in my gp that were powered by the bose system? should i buy 2 amps to run all 6 speakers or run 4 speakers off the headunit and 2 from an amp? if i run all 6 speakers off 2 amps all my pre amp outputs are taken up and i was wondering how i would add a sub? Someone tell me which road will leave me the most satisfied :)

I just ran 4 infinity's off a alpine headunit when I ditched the bose. You don't need 6 speakers, i don't know what size the extra 2 in the back were but they were small. Look in from the trunk at the back speakers and you should be able to see them.

6 is overload, i remember i installed 6 infinity reference series speakers in my friends camaro ss and it was a bit much, but he loved it. You should do 2 components in the front with 3 way 6x9's in the rear with a 4 channel amp and call it a day.

the rears dont count as 2 speakers "technically", the one 4 inch is your highs and the 6x9 is your low pass bass, kinda like a componet set. there is no need to do that many speakers. Add some nice coax's or componets in the fronts, 6.5's if you want a lil more bass, then some nice 3 ways like the above stated and you you'll be just fine. Get a 4 channel and a mono, and a nice deck with 3 rca's with 4 volt preouts and you'll be good to go.
