Seriously missing my HUD

Ok ya'll, I need your help. I have an '04 GP GT. My HUD is no longer functioning and I'm sorely missing it. I need those great numbers in my line of sight since I've been known to have a bit of heavy right foot(I think it's the boots I wear...the cop didn't agree LOL)Anyway, any assisstance in solving this problem would be highly appreciated. I'd rather get my own hands dirty than have to pay someone else, especially since I just shelled out $300 on textbooks!! -Thanx

That was the first thing I did and none of the fuses were blown. According to the diagram on the back of the fuse box cover, there is no specific fuse dedicated to the HUD. If its located elsewhere that would be helpful info, because the car didn't have an Owner's Manual when I bought it and I've never gotten around to replacing it.

SUCCESS!!! Turns out there is a silly little spring that can become disconnected from the motor that controls the display mirror inside the HUD housing. I had to drill a hole in a bracket in order to re-attach the spring and now it works perfectly. If anyone else needs to do such a repair, I stumbled across the info while searching the web for an answer.
