Series III downgrade to Series II



Thanks for the post. I could show you 20-50 that are just like that. They have some vague information, but the specifics are hard to get. That's why I come to specialty forums, like these :)
 
Should I look at getting another oil pump or pickup? I'm going to pull off the oil pan anyways.

Does anyone make decent headers with the outlet at the stock location? The SLP headers I've seen go straight through the Fiero trunk. The stock headers give enough space to work around the trunk. Mustang headers?

Does it matter what Series II wiring harness I use? Year matters? SC vs non-SC matters?
 


I haven't read through the whole thread, but the wiring harness is different for different vehicles (GP vs Impala vs Regal, etc), and SC vs NA have a different MAP connection, only
SC harnesses have the wiring for the BBV solenoid, and and some NA harnesses use a different connector for the injectors.
 


Should I change the oil in the supercharger? Looking at the transmission fluid, I don't think the last owner ever changed anything, but the oil.
 


that link I posted earlier showed what he did to change up his returnless system. maybe take a look at his to see if you can figure out what he did or shoot him a pm.

I emailed them and they said it increases oil pressure by about 5 psi.

In the DIC...it shows bars...but you should run a manual gauge...at least that is what I would do.

I would. $20 for a few bottles of GM oil...and you only need 2. Suck it out with a turkey baster and put in the new shiz. End of story.
