I did some searching. It looks like stock head gaskets work with a .020" overbore. I would just buy some new Mahle's on rock auto.

mine we also not 100% round, neither were the stock gaskets when i pulled my heads off the blown up engine.

the fat edge is the seal i suppose, once its crushed in place.

i also hit them with copper gasket spray on both sides.
 
The chamber opening on the cylinder head is not round, that's why.

You can see on the head where the little step down parts on each side, those match up with the gaskets.
 


I didn't see the first picture where the gasket was there but the cylinder head chamber is not completely round at the top from what I remember and from various pictures. The gasket isn't a perfect match but it follows the lines pretty close.
