Selling used catalytic converters

Have any of you sold them for some extra cash? Or have you guys ever did the online selling/shipping? I was thinking about going down to the local scrap yard, but I didn't know what they were worth. Any input you guys have would be great!
 


Call around and see what they will give you instead of driving all over. W bodies have what's call a small breadbox cat.
 
If you sell it online you have to list it as a 'core' because Im pretty sure its illegal to sell used cats
 


They call em GM 1 or GM 2 cats here, all depends on size and weight.

I got 100 bucks for mine like over 2 years ago, todays market could be different. I went to a recycle center instead of a scrap yard.
