I has a 07 grand prix. How do I disable/disarm the seat belt chime?? I hate seat belts and its annoying when I take my dog with me and the sucker goes off... so with out any smart ass comments "wear your seat belt"... sorry mom but no! How can you disable it?

there are a few plugs under the driver side seat, follow the one that goes up to the seat belt lock, and unplug that plug, i just did this on a ford explorer last week, it may work in a gm.

DING DING DING! WE FOUND THE SMART ASS... not having his sear belt on saved my cousins life. The law of "needing" to wear it is bogus! Its 50/50 in a accident if its gunna help or harm you. Ill choose not to wear my as my human right. Therefor I would like my vehicle to stfu and obay me.

You wanted the simplest method to disabling the chime... just plug in the seatbelt and sit a-top it.

Quite frankly you're being childish.

Do some research on seat belts before you dismiss them as having a purpose.

I'm sure your next thread will be "how do i disable the air bags, they're just as likely to injure you as they are to help you".

It's more than 50/50. After seeing some mining accidents the only reason they lived was because of the seatbelts. One guy fell of a 160 foot cliff and walked away with just one scratch.

Again thanks for all the life changing advise as to why I should wear my belt but no thank you ill pass on wearing it and no its not in the owners manual I read the entire book and I did a lot of research and o found one really long way to disarm it but it don't work. Ill just unplug it but the problem with that is the air bags might not work. So for all you negative nancies go puss off and hate on another thread and for the people that actually tries to help me I say thank you for not being a douche! Night all

Well, hopefully...god forbid...no drunk driver ever pulls out in front of your non-seatbelt wearing self around 55-60mph.

Because if I had your mentality I wouldn't be sitting here posting these pictures to save your life because you lack common sense. It blows my mind that people refuse to wear seat belts. I'm gonna be that douche, because I wonder how some people get so far in life...
