00GP GT will let you use the fob to lock the car and set the alarm but light in dash no longer blinks. Sometimes the alarm works, sometimes not. Any idea on why it isn't working correctly anymore. Thought about an aftermarket security system but just want alarm to work if someone breaks into the car.
 


First check that it is not the "blinking light" malfunction. Lock the car with the fob and unlock with the key, open the door and see if the horn starts goin off.
