Sealing Headlights?

My headlights are being installed on Friday. I bought some stuff to seal them better. I was just wondering how much of them I should do. Just around the bulbs or the entire light??? I want to make sure I don't have any leaking issues.
 


Why would you need to go around the bulbs? They should have rubber gaskets. Otherwise that would be the only point of entry.
