So what is the deal with seafoam? I see and hear of a lot of people using it. I have been thinking about trying it but am unsure. First off how exactly do you use it in the vac. lines. And what does it do. And how about in the oil. Are the benefits noticeable? How does it perform afterwards. Does it restore lost power? Does it clean intake and exhaust valves? Does it clean the S/C rotors? Why does it smoke so bad. Is that through the vac. lines or the oil? Do I have to change the oil after using it?
 


google it my son. It cleans carbon off of everything in the intake and heads thats what smokes, and yes only idle the car for like 5 min with it in the crank case or you will toast a bearing.
 
Ok so if I put it in the oil. change oil very soon after. And it smokes when it goes in vac. line. So what about restoring power to a tired engine?
 
your not going to get any HP out of seafoam, but your engine will run smother,


read the can, 1/3 in the gas tank, 1/3 in the oil, and one 1/3 of the can you let the vac line suck it in the engine, as you get to the last of the 1/3 of the can dump enough into the vac hose to stall the engine out, plug in the vac line, wait 15 minutes, then restart the engine, and rev it up some not red line, but up to 2500 and watch the smoke show, thats all carbon burning off the inside of your engine.

after that, change oil, and your spark plugs as they can foul out from the Seafoam.

so call it part of a tune up.
