• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

the way it is it has to sharp of body lines and looks like a mustang. and they dont do anything

wouldn't you have to mod them to work as heat extractors? I've seen it done. Also seen that blue car with completely chopped doors...

Back on topic, if you fix the lines and fill 'em in they'd look decent, but not amazing.

Actually, it'd be a nice alternative to the F1 hood.

quoted from pfyc.. "Fully functional heat extraction and air intake by adding the K&N FIPK Air Intake Kit available below in the Related Products section."

I might be totally out of line but what would be the difference between filling in the heat extractors and having a stock hood?
does it just help with overheating? because ive never been even close.:th_scratchhead:
and for the most part this is cosmetic unless it makes a HUGE difference in overall performance.

And the GTX's did not have heat extractors either, and it was trusted by pontiac to put on a car off the lot when they were brand new.

I have a SD hood too. And you dont need the heat extractors they are just there to help with engine heat. I see no harm what so ever filing those in but IMO i like the way the hood looks.

i have the SD hood to and love it. but I would be interested in seeing what it looks like when filled in, make sure to post pics if you go that way
