well i dont speed, just hwy driving and turnpike is where it gets meI would keep your speed down until you find a solution. I'm sure you don't want your hood to fly up while driving.

Dont block the vents.... there is a reason they are there. have you tried raising the hood bushings?
on the rad suppoert is a rubber bumper on each side, they have threads on them you need to turn your up a turn or 2 on each side.
if you shut the hood then push down, ( where the bumper is) you can tell if its on the bumper yet.
I have not, wouldnt air still get into there though?
