Hey everyone! I will be putting the SD headers on this weekend (97 GTP) and i just wanted to make sure i got everything..
-2 3 inch band clamps
-2 2 1/4 band clamps
-Front and rear header gaskets (not the ones that came with them)
-Already replaced the leaky flex

Anything im missing? Thnx

no gaskets are needed. no rtv either. get band clamps. the o2 can be reused. you'll need a o2 socket to remove it from the stock manifold.

You'll need one for the rear I believe, and copper rtv, reuse your O2 unless you need to replace them.

rear what red? re use the stock head to header gasket. and thats it. if you need another use what they gave ya with the headers. no need to rtv anything if your slip joints are square and clamped.

Don't use the crappy gaskets they give you with them.. Clean up the oem ones or replace them with oem ones from the dealer they're cheap.. And I'm referring to the post O2 sensors doesn't that need a extension to.. I know the prev gen is a bit different and the 97 are the bastard year so can't answer that one for sure. Copper rtv is cheap
Insurance anyways.

Ok so what your saying is to clean up and re-use all the gaskets but i will most likely need the downstream o2 sensor? And maybe some copper rtv just in case?

theres only two gaskets you can reuse. they are on the head already. the extension is for the up stream o2. buy a new post cat o2 if the one in there wont come out. its a 7/8 th wrench. try to take it out before you drop the pipes.

Cool thanks. Last question just making sure i got it right. The 2.25 band clamps are for the downpipe reducer and the 3 inch ones are for the crossover? Hopefully wont need any rtv..
