screws for plastic guard on seat

The screws I'm talking about are on the plastic cover of the passenger seat on the back side. Mine fell out and I cant find them so its just angling there. Does someone know the pitch and size of the screws?
 


those are sheet metal screws. you'll need to try a few till one fits, they are not very large. inch long maybe 1/8 inch wide.
 
Not really. Its about a half hour drive each way. If I was to go though. Can someone verify if they are Phillips or torx?
 


mine were philips.

if no junk yard, hardware store. one of them 2 dollar mulit packs of little screw would work if they wont let you take a few out and see what fits.

the smaller ace hardware stores will let you take a few small already loose items out for a test fit. just ask the sales, man tell him what your doing, most will work with you and be very helpful, even for a 1 dollar sale.
 
sorry to revive this older thread, but did you figure it out? i have a 2004 GTP and my passenger seat's rear plastic backing (the one that holds the ripcord to make the seat flatten forward) has done the same thing. I heard a pop and sure enough it's just dangling there. any input would be appreciated.
 
well the problem in the 04+ is the passenger side is different from the drivers side. the drivers side doesn't have it and i'm pretty sure those screws are in a black hole because i looked all over the place trying to find them.

our local ace is the same way. great store and service even for a $1 sale. staff actually comes to you and offers help when you walk in the store.
