So my car wouldn't start Sunday morning, it displays a message "starter disabled do to theft system," so i take it to the dealership they tell me its the ignition cylinder and i need a new key. they charge me 561.23 for the fix i go pick up my car there is a HUGE white scuff mark on my drivers side they threw away my old key and got my interior dirty and to top it all off they give me a ridiculous list of suggestions of what i should get done at ridiculous prices. Screw them i will NEVER take my car back.:th_angry-cussing::th_angry-censored:
 


You still have to take it to a dealership to get the anti theft system programmed anytime you get a new key and/or ignition on the newer cars. The keys alone are expensive as hell. Sucks about your paint too.
 
make them pay for fixing that scrape. i wouldnt have even left with my car if that happened to me. i would have left it there and made them fix it. if they made any sort of gesture to say 'no' i would have raised hell. you, sir, are a wiener.

Hate dealerships I wouldnt have left with the car until that scuff was fixxed

Hell every car i work on unless it family or friends I take digipics of any damage while they owner is watching

one guy complained a bit told him it was to safegaurd both of us
 
They fixed the scuff, still never taking it back ever, jeeze Bio name calling isn't very nice

I work at a dealership and only reason to take your car to one is for the warranty (half the time craps on you tho) coverage, programming any of the following; gauge clusters, radios, ignitions, keys, key fobs, tire monitors, or gm installed theft systems that go crazy :th_laugh-lol2:

other than that... no thank you, ill fix it myself:th_thumbsup-wink:

EDIT: and yes i know, the keys, fobs and tire monitors can be programmed by the owner if you research how to do it, just most people dont want to bother with it
