Well, i got myself a 2006 Grand Prix, jsut the plain jane versian, though it has more options than a gt.. ill take some pictures and post them here I'm doin mostly cosmetic changes, though ill make my own cold air and i think ill throw on a glass pack and get rid of the old muffler.

but anyways, here's the to-do list, ill delete them as I go along:
1.Make cold air kit out of some chrome exhaust stacks laying on our farm
2. Get rid of old muffler and put on a glass pack
3. Install turbo simulator
4. purchase new spoiler seen here: Custom Style - Lighted Rear Wing - 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix Spoiler
5. paint calipers (already have duplicolor red caliper paint in my trunk)
6 install some custo Grand Prix SS emplems on the door
7. maybe a chrome mesh grill or something

Also: does anyone know how to chage the gear shifter? my car comes with the leater wheels and shifter, i hate the shifter... i want a different one..
ill try to have some stock pics taken tonite
anyways, please feel free to offer some suggestions and whatnot.
 


oh by the way, this fall in Going to michigan tech, where they get feet upon feet of snow, will a cold air kit hurt my engine if i use one? by allowing too much water in there or something? please help, thx
 


so people will see you pulling away from a stop, they'll hear the "turbo" and some crappy ass glass pack, and still see that the cars still moving slower then hell. it will just make you look like a complete dipsh**
you should just save that money and get something that actually makes your car a little faster

"SS" is for Chevrolet. Putting it on a Pontiac is gay. Wait, let me get out my Ghey-o-Meter...

Wow, it's going crazy. Pretty damn gay putting "SS" on a Pontiac. Putting badges to a higher trim car (especially a different brand entirely) is also known as being a tool, being a poser, and once again being a ricer.

didnt think i as bein that ricer as i wasnt using fake carbon fiber, a 4 cylinder car, a ridicoulus spoiler, coffee can exhaust, i dont have a mo-hawk, and i'm driving an American Car.... sorry guys but i already ordered the fake turbo, its just for ****s and giggles sheesh
 
and about the car being slower than hell with my fake turbo and glass pack... so what? i'm not going to be a racer... just want some kinda exhaust system that's louder than the fan for my engine.... its hard to tell if my engine is running..

Then don't pose as one. :th_winking: Not flaming you, it is your car bud - so you should do whatever you want to, that's really all that matters. But...you did ask for advice - and "posing" doesn't really fly when it comes to the member's here - we are (mostly) all pretty well-versed in this platform and are (mostly) only interested in real results.

As for the exhaust - you can remove the resonator - but I'm not a big fan of that sound by itself...but I've heard a few that removed it, and replaced it with a long-tube glass pack, and it did make a nice tone. Pretty cheap at ~ $50 total, IIRC...of course it depends on your exhaust shop.

that is how good running new cars are supposed to be..... look at your tach if its that big of an issue.....

people buy glass packs and turbos to make their car go faster, so people will hear those things assuming you're trying to be fast. well once 3 seconds go by you have just given them the best laugh they had all week
you have a nice new beautiful car. if you dont care about going fast, then invest in some appearance upgrades, make it look more beautiful. you will get much more respect from people then you would by trying to make it sound "cool"

Rice is anything that is supposed to play your car up to more than it is. And there are American ricers. There are Grand Prix ricers, just like there are Impala ricers. Ever seen a no-balls Cobalt with a fart can and ridiculous wing? Yep, American too.
 
some of the shyt on that list is gay guys but sheesh you guys are down right roasting this guy :th_eyepopping: its your car do what you want to it people are trying to make suggestions to make it less gay....putting a turbo simulator is the equivalent to putting cobra badges on a pony mustang IMO....lol sabrewings your really letting this guy have it with that ghey-to-meter....haha this forum is ruthless!
 
but in all seriousness

1. Make cold air kit out of some chrome exhaust stacks laying on our farm (make it 4 inch...with the looks of this list i could see you making a 2.5 inch intake :th_laugh-lol3:)
2. Get rid of old muffler and put on a glass pack (sounds ****ty)
3. Install turbo simulator (gay, ricer, mine as well make noises out the window with your mouth lol that how stupid it sounds)
4. purchase new spoiler seen here: Custom Style - Lighted Rear Wing - 2006 Pontiac grand prix spoiler (decent...i guess)
5. paint calipers (already have duplicolor red caliper paint in my trunk) (the one thing i like :) )
6 install some custo Grand Prix SS emplems on the door (uhh...no... gay)
7. maybe a chrome mesh grill or something (your other good idea)

basically do only 5 and 7.....maybe 4 if you dont wanna be on sabrewings gheytometer....and shy away from the ricer look....
