Scanned my Car for codes today and..........

Mad GTP

So i went to 'Auto Zone' and had them scan my car because my MIL light has been on for a little while and it started shifting....."Odd" and harsh.
It seems the the code means "Torque Converter Clutch Solenoid Circuit Open".
And im not sure what to do or how to fix it. Need the wise knowledge of the GPF guru's.

your TCC Solenoid has gone bad. the solenoid is stuck open. it's not too hard of a fix. on your driver side behind the wheel you can see the trans cover. the solenoid, as well as a couple more solenoids are behind there that i would recommend replacing while youre in there. to get at it you have remove the wheel, rotor, all the way back to the cv, which must also come out. the trans mount must be removed, to do this put a jack under the trans (not on the pan) to support it and get it off the mount. then you have to make sure the motor is supported, and unbolt the two cradle bolts on the driver side, and just loosen the passenger side cradle bolts. slowly lower your trans down until you can get at the bolts holding on the side cover. get all the bolts out of the cover. this is the hard part, for me anyway, is wriggling the cover out of the way. now the rest i can't really explain without pictures. so here is a video i found awhile back that will show you which one is the correct one.

hope this helps. if i missed anything i'm sure someone else will chime in.
