Some of the very last Saturns looked great, even the Ions but I mean by "deserved" was that Saturn destroyed its image over the last decade so badly that it just couldn't be saved.

Olds and Pontiac were just a shame.

i love olds i have olds ones, but when they never let the cutlass have the L67, and the styling went to **** and or never changed they killed it on purpose. saturn killed olds then they kill saturn

The Intrigue should have been named Cutlass and have had the SCed 3.8 as a trim option level, like GTP for GP and GS for Regal, I agree.
 
My wife bought her first brand new vehicle in 1987. An S-10, in 1993 she bought a brand new Cavalier, in 2001 she bought a brand new Blazer, in 2003 she bought a brand new Comp G. Notice a pattern here?
We deceided to go a couple years with out a car payment, so she drove the GP until January of this year.
When we bought her a new car this year it was a 2011 Ford Fusion SEL. GM didn't have anything that fit our needs or wants for the money that we were willing to spend.
Of course we kept the GP for me to drive, and I only drive my truck when I need to haul something.
 
there just seems to be a market niche missing to me... the "i'm fresh out of college with my first decent paying job and want a nice car" niche. that's true of all automakers. in the late 90's, top end cars could be had for under $30k. gtp's went for low to mid 20's, mustang gt's could be had for under 30, same for ss camaros and trans ams. it got to where g6 gxp's filled that market, and the cobalt ss fell right in that price range. now it's base model camaros and mustangs, or you're looking at mailbus or something. snoozevile

I agree 100%, right now the Ford Fusion fills the same market niche as the G6, you can get a VERY nicely equipped Fusion for that price.
 
Well you have to remember that with time comes inflation. So prices are still probably the same when you proportion it.
 


Hes not talking about the prices, hes talking that there is nothing really between the camaro and the malibu in chevy's lineup. Their lineup pretty much sucks as far as cars go.
 
If i had the money right now my next car would be an Audi. The only GM i want is a CTS-v.
Other wise im looking at Subies, FoMoCo or dodge products.
