Sapphire Technology RMA

I sent in my ticket on 5-21-15, it is now 6-4-15 I still do not have an RMA number to return my defective product to them. There is absolutely no communication between the tech people at all. I informed the tech people that I had purchased my card new on eBay and not once did they mention that eBay was not an authorized vendor and that I would have to pay a $30 fee to process my RMA. Only after digging around for my receipt and sending it in was I informed of this. I sent my RMA form in to tech@athlonmicro 2 days ago, the same day that I was told to fill it out and send it in, and I am yet to get any sort of response from anyone. And I just want to add, my RMA process with my old Sapphire Vapor X 4890 went so much smoother than this has and that card has a lifetime warranty on it. Iirc the turnaround was a little over a week. My current card has a 2 year warranty and all you have been doing is dicking me around. Either stand by your product(s) and honor your warranty or get the hell out of the hardware business.

How long ago did you buy the card? Maybe you can deal with the ebay reseller of the card, rather than the GPU company.

I have had both amd and nvidia. I have burnt out almost every amd card but only 1 nvidia card due to a lightning storm and i still rma'd it lol. I usually buy from evga.
current card is a gtx 760 it does its job very well being ocd 100mhz on gpu and 500mhz on memory.

What are you doing to burn out graphics cards? I've never had one burn out, even with thousands of hours of overclocked abuse.

Only issue I've had was a 6870 with a fickle HDMI output.

Currently very happy with my GTX 970. Haven't even bothered to OC past the factory OC, since it has no trouble with anything I've done with it.

Well I finally received my RMA from Sapphire, they sent the email out at 6:00 on a Friday..........pricks.

Wow, this rant just made me realize how long i've been out of the gaming scene. Last card I had was a 560. Still running strong, modded with an H50 cooler. Though now it only goes 3D when my screensaver kicks in lol.

I ran my 560 Ti heavily overclocked up untill this year. It was a great card.

Sucks they took so long, I'm gonna guess now they are gonna have like a stupid long time before you get the card back. I've only ever had to RMA one thing and it was a mouse and only took a couple of weeks through thermaltake.

I still do sometimes, I didn't know there were other people here who were into computers.

I am, just more into PCM's now than PC's :) I've been building computers for myself and friends/family since AGP days. Last one I built was my HTPC that I built from scratch out of Canary Wood and aluminum. Still running strong in living room, used as dvr with a ceton tuner.

edit: Here is the build log if you are into that sorta thing. Not nearly impressive as 99% of builds on there, but I proved to myself that a wooden pc won't necessarily burst into flames :D

It still looks pretty good, mine is currently apart waiting for upgrades going from a single titan, 8gb ram, and an i7 4770K
To another titan double ram and same CPU. But doing custom case.
