I'll look more into it tonight. I didn't get home and even look at it until about 830 or so. I'm gonna custom cut the pipe and try to get the filter into the fender and attempt to get more air.
 
Well, it appears I have one hell of an oil leak somewhere on the front of the engine down low by the pulleys? It's not from the top anywhere. Oil pressure sending unit? I read somewhere someone else had that issue.
 
That's what it is! Damn!!! It's always something I guess.. I can start the car and rurn the wheels and look under pass Fender well and see it drip about every second or so from wherethe plug goes into it. Right on the transaxle and slinging it everywhere when i drive. I'll replace that tomo and mess with my cai setup I guess.
 


Well just to pick your brain. The supercharger super heats the air anyway. So I dont see the fender intake doing much good. I would think that the open cone filter would be able to pull plenty of air. It makes the supercharger louder too. :P

I have $25 in the filter and $4.83 in the pipe from home depot. It's a 26 ga duct pipe cut to length and I just put the spectre sticker on to look a bit more "custom" lol. It definitely made a difference in the sound, and it sure pulls much harder than before. I'm hoping to get better mpg as well. Time will tell I guess???

It took me like 2 weeks to see any MPG gains. Hence I was driving it harder at first due to the new sound. ;)
 
It definitely sounds different! I got almost 28 mpg on hwy this morn going to work according to the in car comp thing. It usually hovered around 24 before so who knows??
As far as the color under the hood, it has color. It's a black car so the under hood is black. Lol
It could use a cleaning though, not bad for 90000 miles though.
