• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Troy il here, I've been thinking about going to the track since it re-opened. I just stumbled on this topic this morn.

2003 gtp btw.

If you have any mods at all jtesk you will win! I'm pretty much stock other than a recent tune-up and lower gaskets. I did the infamous lim gasket, upper gasket, plugs and wires, and a new set of lifters because I had a tick in one of them off and on.

all i got is 3"dp and cai, with alot of extra weight in the trunk? i been thinking about doing my lim, wanna help me out?

What kind of cai do you have? I was thinking of making one but haven't done much research on it yet.
As far as the lim gasket change-it's pretty much a one man job but I'll help with advice if needed. Keep in mind now, the gaskets alone are gonna set ya back around $150 once you factor in the valve covers, sc gasket, and lim. I was close to $500 into this project with gaskets, lifters, plugs, wires, oil, coolant, and odds and ends. Btw, change the coolant elbows while you're at it. I O'riellys has them for like $5. I didn't break mine removing them but bought them just in case and put the new ones on.

Sweet! I'll check that out. I tried to pm you jteske about the lim thing but can't from my phone for some reason?!? Who knows? Thanks for the info!

Hey, got a 4" pipe and a filter to do the cai. Started taking apart things and saw the comp in there. Not comfy with just leaving the comp bouncing around in there! Where do you guys have yours mounted? I put it back together stock for the moment till more research I guess..
