S/C Pulley question

I was just wondering if the 3.325" pulley for my supercharger would be to small for my GP. My cars got 100k on it with minor mods like plugs and wires, intake and exhaust. The plan was to put it on and get it tuned right after. Is this ok or not?

when you say "intake" and "exhaust" what all are you talking about? CAI, Larger TB, Ported Blower, Machined LIM, Headers, PEM, DP, Cat-Back? i'm running a 3.4 with my current mod and still have a little KR

Not really sure what any of those letters you just said were but for intake i just have like a regular cold air intake thing with the filter and for exhaust i just have punched out my cat and have flowmaster mufflers

i'll break them down so you know them for future reference CAI= Cold Air Intake, FWI= Fender Well Intake, TB= Throttle Body, LIM= Lower Intake Manifold, PEM= Ported Exhaust Manifolds, DP= Down Pipe

But from what you have told me you aren't ready to run anything smaller yet you need alot more work you need your car to breath beter to keep KR(Knock Retard) down for that size you are going to need most of the stuff that i have posted about up to i would go with headers because they are your best bet, with a 180 T-stat, Cat less DP get rid of they U-Bend, Then i would get yourself you ported blower and a machined LIM and at least a Stock ported TB, stage colder plugs (you may even want to do rocker arms or a cam but i am not sure if they are need for this size)

sounds like a lot of work! what is the u bend delete you talk of? somebody else told me i needed to do that. and if i were to get headers how hard are they to install? it looks like they would be harder to get too

yes a lot of work indeed, here is the u-bend

headers aren't to bad the back is going to be the one to give you the trouble, but i have heard that there are ways to make it easier by pulling the motor forward

dam i could have done that when i was messing with the exhaust. where do i find one of those and how expensive are they? and what does that part in the exhaust have to do with the smaller pulley?

if you get headers you can get the down pipe for them tat doesn't have the u-bend, as for what it has to do with pulley size is that you are trying to get well flowing exhaust to get air in and out as fast as possible that u-bend is very restrictive and keeps the exhaust from flowing like you need it to
