s/c gasket leaking setting p0171

ok so i finally found a vac leak it is coming from the snout side of the blower where the s/c and lim meet the gasket is new and so is the lim any ideas on how to fix this leak double up the gasket use rtv? please leave ideas

ps its a garlock gasket and i herd they are garbadge

Pretty sure we went over this last night but I'll toss it out there again.

Either buy Felpro or GM OEM gaskets...even though Garlocks are really cheap...you get what you pay for obviously...same thing happened with mine except it leaked around the coolant passes by the TB. You NEVER want to double gasket the S/C...it won't seal for sh1t...same with RTV'ing it...that's no good...don't ghetto rig it. Just clean the LIM and bottom of the blower good...make sure there are no pieces of gasket left over on either side...because if there are...that could be screwing up the seal on it too.
 
ya the lim is new and a scraped all the old gasket off the s/c and cleaned it with break clean so i guess im changing it again lol
