Right before a recent trip, I noticed oil on the intake manifold, below the supercharger. I watched the oil level throughout the trip and only ended up adding a small amount during the 1000 miles I drove, so it's only seeping. I suspect I have not gotten a good seal when I put the nose back on recently. The anaerobic sealer was still wet after a couple weeks of driving. Is this normal?
What is the proper way to clean the mating surfaces? I am thinking a razor blade would be a good choice.
Also, the bolt that runs vertical, into the intake, how does a person account for the gasket material that is there from the factory if it's no longer complete? This will certainly affect the seal.
