just like the topic says :(. how can i fix this? will it be costly? i was thinking of swapping my engine to another car but that sounds expensive also. could a paint shop fix this?

well i guess ill take that venture and check the underbody and check out the damage. if it hasnt spread what can i do to stop it?

After further inspection I have concluded that it's just the rocker panel :) I thought it was worse. Ok so next step would be to have it fixed so thats on the to do list Tomor. Ok for now what can I do to prevent the rust? I mean what can I buy to spray on the underbody to protect it? Winter is fastly approaching.

ok so im thinking......... couldn't i go to my local exhaust shop (im pretty cool with them) and have them weld a piece of metal into that spot? then coat the entire underbody with rust protection?

isnt that spot due to little amounts of gas dripping on that area after a fuel up? I see that on tons of cars and that is my guess. I usually wipe that area with the windshield cleaner after i fill up.

I am lucky so far no rust on the body other than on the damn hood, car was in Arizona for the first 10 years of its life.
