RTV or no?

I'll be putting my Intercooler core on today & it came with Garlock gaskets. Should i use the gaskets with or without rtv? Or should I use rtv without the gaskets? I ask this
Because ive heard garlock gaskets leak.
 


Recently, I've seen how well Permatex Ultra Grey alone can seal a SC/IC setup, and I say do it. God forbid you need to remove it anytime soon, but we have had zero leaks with it.
 
I used rtv. It works great! I had one leak after the IC install and it was a fuel injector. No biggee there.

Search my name and intercooler install. I've said it before, posted it...and even tossed out pictures.

Not a single leak to date.
