Anyone familiar with this company or their rotors? I need front rotors and are considering going with them.

They have a set of 4 for my car in either just slotted for $180 or slotted and dimpled for $160 shipped. If I don't go with them I'll either go with Autozones 2 year warranty front only, or perhaps the Centric rotors.

Not sure why the dimpled/slotted are less than the slotted only.

This is the coating.
Rotorpros also offers free "DEEP" zinc silver plating to protect your investment from nature's elements. This addition prevents rotors from rusting like all typical stock rotors do.

Personally these worked well for me.

eBay Motors: Chevy Impala 97 98 99 00 01 02 03 04 05 D/S Rotors+Pads (item 280235677473 end time Jun-21-08 18:47:32 PDT)

When I got them from BrakeLabs, they were actually R1 Concept Rotors. And the Posiquiet pads are unbelievable.

As for "DEEP" Zinc plating, that is no such thing. There is Zinc plating, or no Zinc plating. And mine so far have stayed pretty much shiney except where the pad contacts the Rotor. But that is to be expected.

Just my thoughts on that.

Those are by R1Concepts? How did you know?

Well because after I had talked to them on the phone, I called in my order instead of going through eBay. I received confirmation via email about my order and shipment. The subject read "Track your order from R1 Concepts Order #35541." That was my first clue.

And then my second clue :th_winking:

I dont know if BrakeLabs is an off shoot of R1, but they shipped me R1 Concept Rotors. I was NOT gonna complain about that :) Plus I found it funny that real R1 Site on eBay does not offer the Posiquiet ceramic brake pads. But BrakeLabs did. I dont know if it was luck of the draw or what?

But if anyone was going to place an order with them? I would do it via their 800 number and ask them directly to see if they shipping R1's or what. Just a suggestion :)

R1concepts is a machining company. We drill our own rotors and for many other companies out there. Some companies choose to switch the boxes and ask for different drilling patterns. Some don't and choose to sell there rotors under R1.

Thanks
